Shonen Jump GIGA (少年ジャンプGIGA, Shōnen Janpu Giga), or Jump GIGA, is a sister magazine of Weekly Shonen Jump. The seasonal magazine publishes one-shots, short serials, as well as spin-offs and bonus chapters from Weekly Shonen Jump series. It also includes bonus promotional material from currently running Jump series, such as posters, stickers, bookmarks, and postcards.
Formerly known as Shonen Jump NEXT!![1] the magazine launched under its new name in July 2016[2] releasing monthly issues from July to October. At the end of the fourth issue, a special magazine was announced for winter, and the future of Jump Giga was left undecided.[3] New Year's Eve saw the release of Shonen Jump Cross, which also announced the return of Jump Giga for spring 2017.[4]
In 2017, monthly issues were released from April to July. In 2018 and 2019, there were six issues per year: three during the winter season, and three for the summer season. In 2020, the magazine returned to releasing four issues per year, this time on a seasonal schedule. However, 2023 had a 5th issue.
