Gon Freecss is the main protagonist of Hunter × Hunter. Gon is a young boy with a pure heart (for the most part). He'll put his friends above all else and will face up to any opponent, if it's for the greater good.
Appearance[]
Gon is a young boy of above average height, his outfit consists of a green jacket with orange pockets, the jacket is slightly cropped and underneath the jacket, Gon wears a black tank top, he wears green shorts with a pair of green boots
His hair is spiky, and it's color is green and black, he seems to be Caucasian and has large brown eyes.
Personality[]
Gon is an upbeat and affable young boy, he has a particular bond with animals due to being raised in a forest.
Gon, while not dumb, can be pretty simple minded at times, relating to this, he has a very innocent curiosity about him, which can both be a good thing and bad thing at times.
Despite Gon being an overall good person, he can be pretty selfish at times, such as when he let his friend Killua Zoldyck get injured so that he could win in the ball tournament against Razor.
Gon can also be very hypocritical at times, such as when he criticized the Phantom Troupe for not feeling anything when killing random people, despite him not seeming to really care when random people around him die.

Enhanced Vision: Gon's vision is significantly better than the average person, as he was able to spot to tell two Kiriko's apart as well as their sex, which is something that both Leorio and Kurapika failed to do.
Enhanced Hearing: Gon's hearing is even better than his vision.
Enhanced Taste: Gon has trained his tongue to be able to taste things that would normally be considered tasteless to most humans.
Immense Smell: Gon's sense of smell is so great, that it is at least comparable to that of a dog's, as stated by Killua.
Preternatural Perception: Gon's instincts have an unexplainable track record of being correct.
Enhanced Strength: Despite having no formal training at the time, Gon was strong enough to lift a ''Master Of The Swamp'' which is a type of fish that is about the size of a whale, after receiving Nen training, Gon's strength became even greater.
Enhanced Speed and Reflexes: He's extremely fast, which is something that he's been even before receiving Nen training. Much like his Strength, Gon's speed increased after learning Nen.
Enhanced Agility: Gon is very agile.
Stealth Expert: Gon is an expert at stealth, which is something that is later revealed to be cause by the fact that Gon was unwittingly using Zetsu, which is an application of Nen that allows oneself to conceal their aura.
Proficient Hand-To-Hand Combatant: Gon was taught how to use Shingen-Ryu Kung Fu by Wing.
NEN ABILITIES
Gon's Nen class is enhancer, which makes him able to greatly increase his physical attributes, his Hatsu (Special Ability) is named Rock Paper Scissors and it consists of 3 attacks, These attacks are.
Rock: Rock is a close-range attack where Gon charges up his fist which glows bright orange, and then proceeds to deliver a powerful punch.
Scissors: Scissors is a mid-range attack, where Gon transmutes his aura into a powerful bright orange energy sword, and then proceeds to cut his opponents with it.
Paper: Paper is a long-range attack, where Gon emits a bright orange ball of energy, which he then proceeds to throw.
It is also worth noting that Gon has a chant that he uses to build up the power in his attacks, the chant goes like: ''Saisho wa gū, jan ken pon.'' which literally translates to "First comes rock: paper, rock, scissors, depending on what attack Gon is using the last part of the chant will change.
Unnamed Transformation Ability: Gon only used this ability once, and that was when he wanted to kill Pitou, when he uses this ability, he transforms into an adult version of himself, which increases his strength and speed by tenfold, in fact he was so powerful that Pitou compared his strength and his speed to that of a Pre-Rose Meruem.
